Valor
anterior.
1. O
Valor como Norte do SER
O valor não
é apenas um componente da estratégia.
Ele é o eixo que organiza a própria existência.
Essa
estrutura pode ser aprofundada assim:
Mas existe
algo ainda mais fundamental:
👉 O Valor é o que dá legitimidade a
tudo isso
Sem valor:
O valor é
o critério invisível que sustenta a coerência do SER.
2. O
Juízo de Valor: o mecanismo da vida
viver é
escolher o que vale mais
Isso é
central.
define:
Valor não
é o que se mede.
Valor é o que governa.
Valor é a
força invisível que governa o SER, orienta as decisões e se revela nos
resultados.

EXISTENTIAL VALUATION
From What Exists to What
Is
The Emergence of
Existential Valuation
Carlos
Alberto Moreira da Silva
SoftCAMS

What if value
does not begin in the result… but
in existence itself?
In a world driven by metrics,
performance, and outcomes, we have learned
to measure everything — yet we rarely
question the origin of value.
Existential Valuation introduces
a new way of understanding value — not as something created by results,
but as something that already exists
at the core of being.
This book proposes a profound shift:
Value is not produced.
Value is revealed.
Bridging philosophy, strategy, and real-world decision-making,
Carlos Alberto Moreira da Silva connects three dimensions rarely integrated:
Through this lens, performance is no longer the
source of value — it is its expression.
A new
framework for understanding life
and value
Using powerful metaphors such as the seed,
growth, and perpetuity, the book presents a structured yet deeply human
approach to:
Beyond financial valuation
Drawing from decades of
experience in finance, strategy, and performance analysis, the author
expands the concept of valuation
beyond numbers:
From
financial valuation → to
existential valuation
This is not a rejection
of metrics — but a reordering of their place.
Who this book is for
This book is for those who
seek more than performance:
A new field begins here
Existential Valuation is not just a concept.
It is the beginning of a new framework — one that integrates
being, value, and action.
From what exists…
to what is.

Epigraph
“Where your treasure is, there your
heart will be also.”
— Bible
For a long time, value was understood in terms of utility.
What serves
has value.
What generates return has value.
What can be exploited justifies
its existence.
But at a certain point, this logic began
to be questioned.
In the field of
economics — especially environmental economics — a concept emerged that represents an important shift: Existence Value.
The proposal is simple,
yet profoundly transformative:
Something can have value
simply by existing, even if it is never
used.
A forest that will
never be exploited.
A species that will never be
seen.
An untouched ecosystem.
In this understanding, value does not depend on human
action.
It does not depend on exploitation.
It does not depend on the generation
of results.
It resides
in existence itself.
This concept breaks with traditional logic:
Value is not synonymous
with use.
Value is not synonymous with financial return.
Yet, despite its strength, there is a clear
limit:
Ø Value is still located in the external object.
Ø It has not yet reached
the BEING.
Over time,
perspective advances.
Value is no longer understood
only in what exists externally,
but also in what happens within.
A new
approach emerges: Consciousness Valuation.
Here, an important shift occurs:
Value is no longer only
in the object.
It begins to be perceived in the subject.
The proposal is direct:
Value
resides in the consciousness
that perceives, interprets, and assigns meaning.
This movement represents a significant advance.
It:
Now, value depends not
only on what
exists —
but also on who perceives.
However, this approach also has limits:
Ø It remains within the psychological
domain.
Ø It depends on interpretation.
Ø It does not reach the origin
of BEING.
Faced with these two
approaches —
the value of existence and
the value of perception —
a new step becomes necessary.
Not a denial.
But an integration
— and a transcendence.
It is at this
point that Existential
Valuation emerges.
Not as a
sum of previous ideas,
but as a structural shift
in the understanding of value.
It affirms:
Value is not only
in what exists.
It is not only in who perceives.
Value resides in the very essence of
BEING.
Here, a definitive rupture occurs.
Value ceases to be:
And becomes ontological.
Ø It is no longer an analysis.
Ø It is a foundation.
Value does not depend on
use.
It does not depend on perception.
It does not depend on construction.
It is born in essence.
This evolution can be
understood in three distinct — and complementary — levels:
|
Level |
Concept |
Where Value Resides |
|
1 |
Existence Value |
In what exists |
|
2 |
Consciousness Valuation |
In the perceiver |
|
3 |
Existential Valuation |
In the essence of
BEING |
This is not merely
a classification.
It is a progression.
From the external
to the internal
and from the internal
to the essential.
The integration of these concepts is not merely
theoretical.
It has profound implications.
1. Builds
a Semantic Bridge
By connecting these three levels, thought
expands.
It begins to dialogue with themes such
as:
2. Generates Intellectual Legitimacy
Existential
Valuation does not arise in isolation.
It positions itself as an evolution.
It shows that:
3. Establishes a New Field
This is not about
repeating what already exists.
It is about advancing.
It is not saying:
“This has already been done.”
But affirming:
“This evolves into this.”
We can express this
evolution directly:
Existence Value recognizes that something has value simply
by existing.
Consciousness Valuation recognizes
that value is perceived internally.
Existential
Valuation reveals that value originates
in the very essence of BEING.
The greatest challenge is not understanding
this structure.
It is living it.
Because the human being
has been conditioned to seek value:
Even when looking inward,
one often still seeks:
But there is a deeper
shift:
Value does not need to
be pursued.
It needs to be recognized.
ü Closing
The world has already taken
important steps.
It recognized that something can have
value without utility.
Then it realized that value also
resides in consciousness.
But it has not yet
reached what is most essential.
Value is not assigned.
It is not constructed.
Value originates in BEING.
